Volunteer Coworkers

~ Serving different generations in the same era ~

"20-40" is the mission boundary that God has measured out for me. Whether in the ages of the students and young professionals I serve or in the time since I came to faith and began serving the Lord — from participating in Campus Fellowship Taiwan during my student years, to serving student fellowship in church, to campus counseling and young professional fellowship — I have never left the student and youth demographic. In January 2016, I finished my work at a Connecticut church and four years of student ministry at UConn Stamford and UB. Together with Preacher Huang Chuanfeng of Ambassadors for Christ, I organized the "East Coast Taiwan Youth Fellowship," and in October we held the first LifeGame "Life Impact Camp" in the U.S. By May 2025, we had held 25 camps in North America with about 3,000 participants, and we have trained nearly 100 young people who serve on short-term missions as volunteers. In March 2017, I accepted an invitation from MGC founder Preacher Duncan, joined InterVarsity, and moved to New York — the city with the largest number of international Chinese students. I continued campus ministry at Columbia University while attending Manhattan Gospel Church, founded in September 2016, where I still serve in God's household today. In June 2021, I took on the late Professor Wen Ying-kan's legacy, leading the Chinese outreach department of the U.S. "Crown Ministry," leading courses and training leaders and co-workers. I have also participated in some discipleship courses: the UK S.E.A.N. mission agency's Theological Education by Extension (TEE) "Life of Christ," the Panoramic Bible course, and others. Life continues to move forward. In further study, learning, and service, I "reflect," and in the years God has given me, I "give thanks." May God use me as a "worker" of His "righteousness." Life may not always be full of interesting stories, but I hope you can see how God uses someone as lowly as me to tell of and participate in God's miracles in the lives of many young people — this is the grace of serving Him!
