Tony:
I came to faith during college but afterwards went through a period as a "prodigal son leaving home." God's unfailing love brought me back to His side, showing me my own weakness and God's faithfulness.
Afterwards, the Holy Spirit's leading helped me understand that the life of God's children should be a life of service. In 2010, by God's grace, I participated in the founding of the New York Alliance Grace Church, and in the service of this new church I experienced countless joys and peace from God. Over the years, God gradually made it clear to me to serve Him through worship and teaching.
In 2016, I once again had the honor of participating in the founding of Manhattan Gospel Church, leading a group of young people full of God's grace through worship and teaching to experience God's love together. May God make us thirst more for and understand His word, that it may be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path!
Bella:
I came to the U.S. in 2011 to pursue a master's degree in finance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and came to faith that same year. After being called, I completed a Master of Divinity at the Alliance Theological Seminary. Because of my own background as an international student, I have a burden for gospel work among Chinese students studying in the U.S. During my seminary years, every summer I returned to the Champaign Chinese Church for a summer internship, doing evangelism and discipleship work among Chinese students and scholars in Champaign. I myself was greatly trained and grew through this ministry, experiencing God's faithfulness and greatness. Now God has led me to serve at Manhattan Gospel Church, where I have the opportunity once again to serve Chinese international students and see how good God's heart is for us.
Thank God for enabling us to spread the gospel together with one heart in this mission field.
May God's Kingdom come!
